Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program

Discover Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is a provincial immigration program in Canada that allows the province of Saskatchewan to nominate foreign individuals for permanent residency based on their skills and ability to contribute to the local economy. The program has different streams, including those specifically designed for candidates who are already in Canada and have completed their studies or are on a work permit.

If you are currently inside Canada and have completed your studies or are on a work permit, you may be eligible for the SINP through one of the following streams:

1. International Skilled Worker – Saskatchewan Express Entry: This stream is aligned with the federal Express Entry system, which manages the applications for three economic immigration programs: Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canadian Experience Class. To be eligible for this stream, you need to have an active Express Entry profile and meet the eligibility requirements of one of the three federal programs.
2. Saskatchewan Experience Class/Existing work permit: This stream is for individuals who have a valid job offer from a Saskatchewan employer in an occupation classified as skill level TEER “0,” “1,” or “2”, “3” in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) system. You must have worked for at least six months with the employer offering the job and meet other eligibility criteria.

3. International Skilled Worker – Occupations In-Demand: This stream is for individuals who do not have a job offer but possess work experience in an occupation that is in high demand in Saskatchewan. The occupation must be listed on the In-Demand Occupations List provided by the SINP. Additionally, you must meet other eligibility requirements such as work experience, language proficiency, and settlement funds.

It is important to note that meeting the basic eligibility criteria does not guarantee nomination. The SINP has specific requirements for each stream, and the selection process is competitive. You will need to carefully review the program guidelines, including the eligibility criteria and application process, to determine your specific eligibility and understand the required documentation.
